Elvis’s 1958 BMW 507 was a “pre-owned” one, formerly used in several track events by racecar driver Hans Stuck. Because the engine had been suitably thrashed, the dealership (BMW of Glöckler) the engine was rebuilt to stock specification for Elvis to use on a daily basis.
